The Anima Causa Feel Seating System is made of 120 elastic fabric-covered balls that move around with you, changing their form with what the designer calls the emotional state of the body. Inspired by molecular structures, it can be arranged in a nearly unlimited number of positions.
A Tippytoes Composite
So im taking a Media Design class and creating a photorealistic composite was one of the first assignments. Still getting some of the techniques down but it was a fun first attempt. Also slowly starting to realise how absolutely ridiculous photoshop CS4 is.
Ambient light and interactive toy, Klaas van der Molen’s Boids interact with other Boids. Placed in close proximity with each other Boids will interact, flash or change brightness, in a synchronized pattern. The spheres have integrated sensors that detect other Boids, and overall ambient light, and adjust their brightness accordingly. Alone a Boid will react to ambient illumination, but put together with others they display intriguing flows and patterns. Says Klaas, “The Boid is also a social product. It can bring Boid-owners together to interact and unfold even more mystical patterns.”
